Strength and Ultrasonic Characteristics of Cemented Paste Backfill Incorporating Foaming Agent

This work is a systematic study of the strength and ultrasonic properties cemented paste backfill incorporating foaming agent, known as foam-cemented (FCPB). Based on determining optimal admixture contents (foaming stabilizer, thickening agent), series uniaxial compressive (UCS) tests were conducted to determine relationship between UCS FCPB four influencing factors, i.e., cement–tailings ratio (CTR), solid content (SC), curing time (T), agent (FC). To analyze sensitivity these grey relational analysis (GRA) was introduced. Moreover, results correlated with corresponding pulse velocity (UPV) parameters. The indicate that are 0.5%, 0.6%, 1–3%, respectively. exponentially increases CTR SC, while it logarithmically linearly T FC, has most significant influence, followed by T, FC. There exists an evidently linear UPV regardless CTR, These contribute understanding hardened sound designs in practice.
